Ben Affleck might be out of “The Batman”

Ben Affleck is not completely sure about directing The Batman, that according to Warner/DC will be released in 2018. He had mentioned in an interview last year that he was really excited about it and that the script was going pretty well.

In a recent interview for The Guardian, he doesn’t seem quite sure about it anymore. When it was mentioned that he would direct his own superhero movie, he said “That’s the idea. But it’s not a set thing and there’s no script. If it doesn’t come together in a way I think is really great I’m not going to do it.”

Although Affleck has also proven to be a talented director, it might be a wise decision not to rush into this Project unless he is absolutely convinced about it.
