Bugonia is a reimagining of the South Korean film Save the Green Planet, focusing on two conspiracy-driven friends who abduct a powerful corporate CEO. They believe she is actually an alien with plans to destroy the planet, leading to a high-stakes, unusual adventure. Emma Stone leads the cast, joined by Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone. The screenplay is adapted by Will Tracy, and the movie marks another collaboration between Stone and Lanthimos, following their previous works together.
