Discussing her experiences in an interview, Brosnahan revealed that this curse severely complicated her travels and caused considerable stress, leading her to explore unconventional solutions ahead of the Superman tour.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Brosnahan shared that her journey experiences had been fraught with difficulties. She described having
“been suffering from a travel curse for the last 10 years”
and noted,
“never not as stressful as humanly possible,”
explaining that even DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran refused to travel alongside her. Brosnahan recounted two particularly memorable episodes illustrating the curse’s impact.
Specific Incidents Highlight the Travel Woes
The first incident occurred while she was filming in New Mexico and preparing to promote a film at the Cannes Film Festival. She explained,
“The first time I remember it happening, I was shooting a show in New Mexico and premiering a film at Cannes. They gave me 36 hours off the show to promote this film. I was on my way there, it was a beautiful day in May in sunny, gorgeous New Mexico.”
Unexpectedly, a sudden snowstorm struck with such severity that she narrowly made her flight, adding,
“All of a sudden, an apocalyptic snowstorm hit, A complete whiteout. I made it by the skin of my teeth.”
The second major episode involved travel disruptions during the lead-up to the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. While her traveling companions managed to board their flights, Brosnahan herself was stranded at Los Angeles airport for eight hours, only to discover that her baggage and reservations were lost.
Seeking Alternative Help to End the Curse
Faced with ongoing travel chaos and anxiety about upcoming commitments such as the Superman tour, Brosnahan turned to alternative options. She consulted individuals who practiced energy healing and past-life reading, expressing frustration towards the person she believed placed the curse, calling them “petty.” Ultimately, Brosnahan hired a witch to help lift the curse, who arrived equipped with a wishing well and wand. The witch required Brosnahan to sign a non-disclosure agreement before proceeding.

Describing the witch’s confidence and skills, Brosnahan said,
“She seemed pretty skilled and ready to take it on,”
and concluded with relief,
“I’m happy to report that it worked.”
