Dave Bautista Finalizes Deal as Villain Opposite Henry Cavill in Amazon’s Highlander Reboot

Dave Bautista is close to finalizing his role as the villain alongside Henry Cavill in the Highlander reboot produced by Amazon MGM Studios. The film, which also stars Russel Crowe and Marisa Abela, is set to begin shooting at the end of September in the UK and Hong Kong. Bautista will play Kurgen, an immortal barbarian who relentlessly hunts other immortals to absorb their power.

Henry Cavill takes the lead role of MacLeod, while Russel Crowe is cast as Ramirez, another immortal who trains MacLeod to compete for the Prize at the Gathering in New York City.
