The commitment of the actors was intense, with Pitt and Idris spending four months mastering the driving of an F2 car adapted with an F1 body. These cars can reach speeds of approximately 220 mph, highlighting the dangerous and demanding skill required in Formula One.

“‘Well, on that turn, if you try to pass, you’ll crash.’ That’s how detailed he got into everything. And we used it.”

When asked about further developments for the CSI franchise following CSI: Vegas (2024), Bruckheimer stated there are no immediate plans but left open the possibility of future reinventions.
“Not at this point, but I’m sure they’ll always come back to it. It’s such a great franchise, and we just have to reinvent it another way, that’s all. To which, hopefully, we’ll do.”
