There were some images of monsters and makeups from his childhood. But they were our springboard to make designs.

The makeup itself was a three-hour process with multiple pieces on the neck, top of the head and chin. Each piece was glued on, and the edges blended.
He further described the meticulous additions that enhanced the character’s realism, including scars, staples, twisted skin, embedded hair, specialized teeth, and contact lenses. The process involved weeks of preparation, sculpting, casting, and painting. Versluis emphasized the dedication, saying,
