Following each Peacemaker episode, the official podcast titled Peacemaker: The Official Podcast with James Gunn airs on DC’s YouTube channel, offering scene analysis and insider stories. In Season 2, Episode 3, Gunn revealed a collection of artefacts he took from both the Marvel and DC sets, emphasizing his unique access due to his leadership role.
Among the items he owns is the Peace-Cycle featured in Peacemaker’s second season. On this, he commented,
I have Peacemaker’s Peace-Cycle right over there, but I didn’t steal it. I’m the boss.
The director also recalled how crew members would often take crystals from the Fortress of Solitude on Superman’s set until none remained by the end of shooting. Additionally, Gunn proudly stated that he possesses one of Marvel’s pivotal treasures:
I have the original Infinity Stone from Guardians 1,
further explaining,
Before it was purple, when it was red, which is how we shot the movie.
