Netflix is developing a new Guillermo del Toro horror film based on the novella series The Boy in the Iron Box, created by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan. Del Toro and Hogan will serve as producers for the project, which aims to bring the six-part story to the screen.
Cast and Crew Announced for the Upcoming Film
The cast includes Rupert Friend, known for Jurassic World Rebirth, playing the group’s leader, Liev. Kevin Durand, recognized for his role in Abigail, will portray one of the mercenaries, while Jaeden Martell, famous for IT, will take on the role of the boy locked in the iron box. David Prior, who wrote The Empty Man and directed it, is both the screenwriter and director for this adaptation.
