Indonesian director Timo Tjahjanto confirmed the start of filming on Instagram, sharing a photo of the movie’s clapperboard that also revealed the official logo for The Beekeeper 2. This announcement signals the sequel’s move from pre-production to active filming.

Tjahjanto, who directed the sequel, is working from a script by Kurt Wimmer. Jason Statham reprises his role as Adam, joined once again by Jeremy Irons, who returns as Wallace Westwyld.
