Ryan Murphy and Charlie Hunnam Shine at Monster Premiere

Charlie Hunnam and Ryan Murphy appeared together outside the Paris Theater on Tuesday, September 30, in New York City, celebrating the upcoming debut of Monster: The Ed Gein Story. The Ryan Murphy Monster Premiere attracted notable attention as the 45-year-old lead and 59-year-old co-creator arrived for the event ahead of its official screening.

Cast and Creators Join the Festivities at The Plaza Hotel

Before the premiere screening, Charlie Hunnam and Ryan Murphy made their way to The Plaza Hotel‘s carpet alongside an impressive lineup of co-stars. The ensemble included Tom Hollander portraying Alfred Hitchcock, Laurie Metcalf as Augusta Gein, Suzanna Son playing Adeline Watkins, and Vicky Krieps as Ilse Koch. Other cast members present were Joey Pollari, Charlie Hall, Tyler Jacob Moore, Robin Weigert, Jackie Kay, Hudson Oz, and Brock Powell. The creative team was also present, featuring co-creator and executive producer Ian Brennan as well as director and executive producer Max Winkler.

Support from Family and Early Events Highlight the Lead-Up

The day prior to the premiere, the cast and crew participated in a special tastemaker event held in New York City to promote the series. Henry Winkler, known for his role on Happy Days and father of Max Winkler, also attended the premiere, showing support for his son’s involvement in the project.

Monster: The Ed Gein Story, part of the anthology’s third season, is set to premiere on Netflix this Friday, October 3. Fans can look forward to exploring the dark, compelling narrative brought to life by Charlie Hunnam and the talented ensemble, dressed for the occasion with Charlie wearing a custom Brioni suit.
