Diane Keaton Reveals Why She Never Married Al Pacino

Diane Keaton, who passed away on Saturday at age 79, once shared insights into her five-year relationship with Al Pacino and why they never married. The actress explained that she never wanted Pacino to propose.

“I didn’t even want him to propose. I just thought maybe he would marry me, eventually. I thought, ‘don’t even propose — let’s just do it.’ But that never happened, and that is a blessing for both of us. It would have been a nightmare for him,”

Keaton told Neil Fisher, executive editor of culture and books at The Times of London, in 2017.
