Speaking at a panel during New York Comic Con, Fishburne addressed the growing buzz surrounding the X-Men franchise’s integration into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, expressing his interest in this iconic role while highlighting his involvement in the MCU.

During the panel, Fishburne said,

“I know that they’re talking about the X-Men now,”

followed by,

“So, at this point, I want one of two things. The first thing would be: what do you think about Laurence Fishburne as Professor X?”

The suggestion ignited a strong response from the audience. Despite this enthusiasm, Fishburne admitted he has yet to decide on his second dream role and ruled out joining the Star Wars universe, stating he prefers watching the series from home and is currently engaged with Star Wars Rebels.
