Kim Kardashian Wishes She’d Pranked Michael Douglas With Glenn Close

At the premiere of the new series All’s Fair, Kim Kardashian impressed on the red carpet with her Schiaparelli Couture gown designed by Daniel Rosemary. The show, which centers around an all-female law firm, features fashion heavily, a fact Kardashian highlighted while discussing her favorite dress and character styling.

She described the gown as a longtime dream, saying,

“I dreamt of this dress for like a year straight.”

For her role as Allura Grant, Kim worked closely with stylist Soki Mak, who collaborated with creator Ryan Murphy to define the character’s wardrobe using archival fashion pieces from the ’90s.

Kardashian explained the unique style of one outfit shown in the first trailer:

“There is one outfit I’m wearing, you’ll see it in the first trailer, I’m wearing a shirt, a tie, a vest, a little handkerchief, a long pinstripe skirt, but then I turn around and it’s a thong! It’s how [Jean Paul] Gaultier designed it on the runway. I think it is from 1992.”

Many of the costumes came from Kim’s own extensive wardrobe, as she shared,

“Most of the clothes are from my wardrobe… I have a big archive, so that was really fun to create this character with Soki.”

Learning from a Star-Studded Cast

The show features a cast including Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, and Niecy Nash. Kim expressed admiration for her co-stars’ expertise, noting how being surrounded by such skilled actresses was a valuable experience. She said,

“They are the best at what they do, so to be surrounded by women who are the best in their field and getting to watch them and how they do what they do. There were scenes, I mean, Glenn and Sarah and the tears… I learned something new from each of them every single day.”

Kardashian approached the shoot with focus and preparation, stating,

“disciplined and early, knew my lines, super prepared emotionally to give whatever I needed to give for the day.”

Despite the intense work, she balanced filming with family responsibilities, admitting to managing homework and projects with her children over phone calls:

“I’d be in the other room, like, ‘Did you do the homework yet? I will be home…’”

and,

“Every time there was a project or a school project, I would make sure I was there.”

Behind the Scenes: Sleepovers and ‘Fatal Attraction’ with Glenn Close

Kim also reflected on the camaraderie among the cast, including sleepovers with Glenn Close and other members. Watching Close’s iconic film Fatal Attraction together was a highlight, as Kim experienced the movie for the first time with commentary from Glenn herself. She recalled,

“Yeah, with a… few drinks getting all the commentary from Glenn about [‘Fatal Attraction’] was so much fun, hearing all the little tidbits.”

Kim was impressed by the film’s fashion and Glenn’s performance, saying,

“The fashion was insane, her body was insane.”

She appreciated Glenn sharing her nervousness about key scenes, adding,

“Seeing how she was like, ‘I was so nervous about this part and the elevator and this part,’ it was so cool to see and get the behind the scenes of ‘Fatal Attraction.’”

Kim Kardashian’s Playful Regret About Missing a Prank Opportunity

Reflecting on their time together, Kim expressed a lighthearted wish that they had taken advantage of a chance to prank Glenn Close’s former co-star, Michael Douglas. Laughing, she said,

“I was like, ‘What were we thinking?’ We were all drunk — we should have taken her phone and prank called Michael Douglas!”

She added with a smile, Maybe we will tonight!

All’s Fair is set to premiere on Hulu on November 4, offering viewers a mix of legal drama, memorable fashion, and powerful performances from a talented ensemble cast.
