Jennifer Lawrence continued to impress during her press tour for the film Die, My Love, which stars alongside Robert Pattinson. Following her appearance in a custom Dior gown inspired by 1949 designs at the Cannes Film Festival in May, Lawrence embraced a Jennifer Lawrence vintage Armani gown for the 69th BFI London Film Festival on October 17.
Arriving in London, the actress, styled by Jamie Mizrahi, wore an Armani Privé gown from the fashion house’s Fall 2005 couture collection. The dress featured a black velvet halter top flowing into a silk floor-length skirt, complete with a subtle train that added elegance to her red carpet presence.
Lawrence enhanced the vintage ensemble with a Glenn Spiro Diamond Torque Necklace that complemented the gown’s daring neckline. She also wore Aquazzura’s You And I 105 Sandals, a favored brand among royalty such as Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, which gave her added height and sophistication.
On arrival, Lawrence was photographed removing a floral silk coat lined with fur, a piece from Conner Ives’s Fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection, which perfectly paired with the vintage dress and added a modern touch to her look.
The gown Lawrence wore originally debuted on the runway in July 2005, modeled by Australian Alexandra Agoston during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Lawrence’s stylist made subtle modifications, including removing a flower and some ruched belt detailing, tailoring the dress to fit the actress’s style for the premiere.
Once again, Jennifer Lawrence proved her mastery of red carpet fashion, selecting a garment that bridges classic couture with a fresh, contemporary aesthetic. Her choice of a vintage Armani Privé gown not only highlighted her fashion versatility but also paid homage to the craftsmanship of the renowned fashion house.
