Apple Martin, daughter of actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has officially made her singing debut. At 21 years old, she performed live alongside musical duo Jade Street at Cannery Hall in Nashville, with her father present in the audience. This event marks a significant step in Apple’s emerging music career.
Though she is best known as the eldest child of the famous couple, Apple has previously explored modelling while attending Vanderbilt University. However, her recent stage appearance showcases her growing focus on music. In a TikTok video initially highlighted by Page Six, Apple can be seen lending her vocals to the song Satellite during the performance with Jade Street.
Following the event, Apple shared footage of her singing on Instagram, announcing the upcoming official release of the track Satellite on October 28. This release is part of a collaboration with musicians Eli Meyuhas and Zachery Zwelling, further underlining her commitment to establishing herself as a singer.
Building on Previous Musical Experiences
While this live performance is Apple Martin’s first public debut as a solo singer, her involvement with music extends beyond this moment. She has contributed backing vocals and songwriting on multiple Coldplay tracks, including Let Somebody Go and feelslikeimfallinginlove. These credits highlight her ongoing connection to music and creative influence within the family band context.

As she balances her artistic pursuits, Apple continues to develop her skills and presence in the music industry, moving beyond her earlier modelling work. Her growing portfolio signals a serious dedication to carving out a path as a vocalist and songwriter.
Academic Life and Creative Interests
Apple also stays committed to her education while pursuing the arts. She has revealed in an Interview Magazine feature that she is majoring in law, history, and society at Vanderbilt University. Beyond academics, Apple actively participates in theatre and enjoys acting and modelling alongside her music endeavors.
She explained,
“I’m in the lovely Vanderbilt Original Cast, the esteemed cabaret theater group,”
adding,
“This semester’s show is a musical parody of Love Island called Love on an Island. It’s so fun. The songs are phenomenal. I have a very low voice so whenever we’re doing harmonies, it’ll be like, ‘Alright, it’s the boys and Apple.’ I’m singing my absolute favorite song this semester, which I’m so excited about. I’m definitely not the best in the org, but I love it.”

Family Background and Ongoing Connections
Despite Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s separation in 2016 after nearly 13 years of marriage, they have maintained a supportive relationship as co-parents. Earlier this year, Paltrow shared a heartfelt birthday message for Chris Martin, expressing gratitude for his role as a father to their children, including Apple and her younger brother.
Apple Martin’s debut performance not only marks an important personal milestone but also reflects the continuation of her family’s artistic legacy. As she prepares for future releases and performances, her evolving career is closely watched by both fans and the music community.
