Filming has officially started on Robert Eggers’ upcoming movie, Werwulf, a 13th-century werewolf tale, Focus Features announced through ScreenDaily. The production is taking place in the UK, with principal filming based at Sky Studios Elstree and additional scenes being shot on location in Dartmoor, Devon.

Cast and Setting of the Medieval Horror Film

The film features actors Willem Dafoe, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Lily-Rose Depp in leading roles. Set in the 13th century, Werwulf is designed as a medieval horror story that will arrive in theaters on Christmas Day 2026.
