Actress Allison Williams shared details about a painful injury she sustained during the filming of her new movie, Regretting You. Speaking on The Jennifer Hudson Show on October 24, Williams described the accident that occurred while shooting a scene involving a physical outburst directed at a car.
Details of the Injury During an Action Scene
The 36-year-old actress explained that the scene required her character to kick a car in frustration and then strike it repeatedly with a duffel bag. Though a stunt double was brought in to assist with the initial kick, Williams suffered a pulled hip flexor during that moment, which healed relatively quickly.
“I was so sure I was going to get hurt,”
she said.
“I thought I was going to get hurt when I kicked it, so we had a stunt double come in to help me with the kick.”

More Serious Injury Occurred Afterwards
Williams revealed that a more severe injury happened when she began hitting the car with the bag. During this, she dislocated a rib, describing the feat as intense and comparing it to something a well-known action star might do.
“But while I was wailing on it with the duffel bag, I actually dislocated a rib, which is so intense of me, and so, like, Tom Cruise of me, I think, to do,”
she shared.
