The fifth Red Sea Film Festival will open on December 4 with the premiere of “Giant,” a boxing film centered on BritishYemeni boxing icon Prince Naseem ‘Naz’ Hamed. This screening marks the first showing of the film in the Middle East and North Africa region, highlighting the inspiring story of a world champion’s rise to prominence.

The Story of Naz Hamed and His Boxing Journey

“Giant” follows Naz Hamed’s journey from his modest beginnings in Sheffield to becoming a global boxing sensation. Egyptian-British actor Amir El Masry portrays Naz, while Pierce Brosnan takes on the role of Brendan Ingle, the Irish trainer who helped shape his career.
