The event took place at The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills in West Hollywood, California, drawing attention to the Oscar-nominated actress’ first effort as a director.

After the screening, Kristen engaged in a Q&A session moderated by Dakota Fanning, who has been a close friend and collaborator since their time together on the Twilight series and the 2010 film The Runaways. Their shared history added a personal touch to the event.

About The Chronology of Water and Early Recognition

The film, written and directed by Kristen Stewart, adapts Lidia Yuknavitch’s memoir and centers on a woman portrayed by Imogen Poots. The story explores her journey emerging from an abusive childhood, moving through challenges including competitive swimming, toxic relationships, and addiction, as she ultimately finds her voice through writing.
