Millie Bobby Brown Channels Tom Cruise in Intense Stranger Things S5 Training

Millie Bobby Brown is set to say goodbye to her role as Eleven in the highly anticipated Stranger Things season 5, promising an action-packed conclusion to her character’s journey. Embracing the challenge of this final season, Brown revealed that her intense physical preparation was inspired by Tom Cruise, highlighting the commitment behind her “Tom Cruise Stranger Things training.”

Physical Training and New Depths for Eleven’s Final Chapter

At a recent For Your Consideration event, Brown shared insights about her role, emphasizing how she became a resource not just through Eleven’s supernatural abilities but also through rigorous physical conditioning. Brown said,

“It was really exciting to be more of a resource this season, not just because of her powers but also her physical training and attributes that she’s put herself through,”

conveying the effort put into embodying this next stage of the character.

She further added,

“It was really fun, I definitely channeled my inner Tom Cruise,”

and expressed enthusiasm for the unfolding story, saying,

“I feel like Volume 1 only touches on what she’s been training for, and I’m really excited for everyone to see what that leads to.”

Season 5 Promises an Epic, Logistically Complex Finale

The upcoming season will mark the conclusion for Eleven and the rest of the key characters, including Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and Steve. Stranger Things co-creator Ross Duffer emphasized the finality of the story, stating,

“This really is the end of the story of Eleven and Mike and Lucas and Dustin and Steve and all these characters, and Hawkins specifically.”

His brother and co-creator Matt Duffer elaborated on the completeness of the narrative, saying,

“There’s not really anything else worth exploring. The book is closed, and the ending wouldn’t be very impactful if we left it cracked open for some sort of sequel.”

Fans can anticipate a season packed with intense action and complex filming logistics, as creators have described the finale episode as “logistically insane” and

“as big as any finale we’ve ever done.”

Additional Storytelling in Stranger Things Universe

While season 5 will officially conclude the main series, the Stranger Things universe will continue to expand. An animated spin-off titled Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 will feature familiar faces like Eleven, Will, Dustin, Mike, Lucas, and Max. However, this series is set between seasons 2 and 3 and doesn’t continue the main storyline.

The final season will be released on Netflix in three parts: Volume 1 on November 26, Volume 2 on December 25, and the grand finale on December 31, allowing fans to watch the final chapter unfold at a steady pace.
