Andrew Garfield Wild Things sees the acclaimed actor taking on a remarkable transformation alongside Jude Law in the upcoming Apple TV series Wild Things. Announced in March 2025, the drama chronicles the lives of Siegfried & Roy, the German-born illusionists famed for their spectacular Las Vegas performances featuring magic and white tigers.
The eight-episode series, produced by Apple Studios, explores the complex relationship between Siegfried and Roy, delving into their rise to fame and the blurred lines between illusion and reality that defined their careers. The narrative builds toward the tragic incident that abruptly ended their act, revealing the personal and professional costs behind the spectacle.
On-Set Transformation Captured in New Photos
Recently released set photos shared by journalist Jeff Sneider on X reveal Andrew Garfield and Jude Law in character on location. Garfield portrays Roy, while Law takes on the role of Siegfried. The pair appear together outside on a balcony, showcasing looks that make them almost unrecognizable from their usual appearances.
Garfield’s costume includes a royal-blue suit jacket worn over a white buttoned shirt, accented by a slim chain necklace, a lapel pin, light facial hair, and a black beret. In contrast, Law’s depiction features long blond hair, dark sunglasses, a black blazer, a gray patterned scarf, and a cross necklace, all contributing to his distinctive portrayal of Siegfried.
Veteran Talents Bring Depth to the Series
Both Garfield and Law bring not only acting prowess but also experience in producing, serving as executive producers on Wild Things. Garfield’s film career includes two Best Actor Oscar nominations for Hacksaw Ridge and Tick, Tick… Boom!. Law has been nominated twice for Supporting Actor categories, for Cold Mountain and The Talented Mr. Ripley.
Alongside them, the cast features Justin Bartha, Cameron Britton, Bill Heck, Justin Theroux, Jessica Madsen, Brett Gelman, and Darius Fraser. The creative leadership includes John Hoffman, who is both showrunner and executive producer, known for co-creating Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, and director Matt Shakman, who will also executive produce and direct the pilot episode.

Wild Things draws its storyline from the podcast of the same name and portrays the duo’s intertwined romantic and professional relationship. The series recounts pivotal moments such as Roy’s white tiger mauling incident, which caused severe injuries and ended their iconic performances. The tragic aftermath is underscored by Roy’s death in November 2020 due to COVID-19 complications, followed by Siegfried’s passing in January 2021.
The show has yet to announce its release date, but anticipation is high given its rich source material and high-profile cast and crew.
