Kumail Nanjiani, known for his work as a comic, actor, and Oscar nominee for The Big Sick, recently returned to stand-up comedy with his special Kumail Nanjiani: Night Thoughts, which premiered on Hulu last month. Alongside his acting achievements, including roles in Ella McCay and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and numerous television guest appearances, he also was a series regular on HBO’s Silicon Valley from 2014 to 2019. Nanjiani’s experience hosting includes co-emceeing the 2016 Indie Spirit Awards and presenting at various other ceremonies.
