Paris Hilton Opens Up: Is She Still Mad at Lindsay Lohan?

Paris Hilton has shared an update about her standing with Lindsay Lohan following their well-known dispute. During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Hilton revealed that she and Lohan have reconnected, especially after both became mothers.

Hilton, who has two children—son Phoenix, 3, and daughter London, 2—with her husband Carter Reum, mentioned reaching out to Lohan when she learned the actress got engaged. This simple gesture helped ease tensions between them.

Recent Interaction Helps Bridge the Gap Between Former Friends

Reflecting on how the conversation restarted, Hilton said,

“I saw that she got engaged when I was on my honeymoon and I just said, ‘Congratulations.’ And then, [that broke the ice]. No bad vibes!”

She further expressed her intent to arrange a meeting for their children, adding,

“Planning to get the kids together,”

and shared warm feelings about Lohan, saying,

“I’m so happy for her. She is glowing. I love her.”

The Backstory of Their Fallout

Fans may recall that Hilton and Lohan were friends in the early 2000s, but their relationship deteriorated after Lohan was linked to Hilton’s ex, Stavros Niarchos. Their fallout grew more public when Hilton criticized Lohan’s behavior during a night out with Britney Spears in 2018.

Hilton recounted the incident:

“Back in the day, we were friends. [Lohan] is just, like, one of those people I just don’t really trust. And I only like to be around positive energy and good people — good vibes only,”

she said.

She described Lohan crashing the outing, saying,

“Well, Britney and I went out for the night … [Lindsay] totally party crashed,”

and explained,

“We were all at the Beverly Hills Hotel at the bungalows and we were at an afterparty and then Britney and I wanted to leave to go home. And then [Lindsay] started, like, chasing us, and then squeezed in the car — it was literally a two-seater. She just, like, squeezed in.”

Hilton admitted that she didn’t confront Lohan openly at the time, stating,

“I didn’t want to humiliate her in front of all the paparazzi and be like, ‘Get out of my car,’”

demonstrating a reluctance to publicly shame her despite the awkward situation.

Significance of Their Reconciliation and What May Follow

The renewal of their connection reflects changing dynamics as both Hilton and Lohan embrace motherhood and appear to move past previous conflicts. Their efforts to rebuild ties and get their children together suggest a softening of old grievances. This shift may mark an important step in closing one of Hollywood’s long-standing personal disputes, with potential for more positive interactions in the future.
