Orlando Bloom has joined the cast of the upcoming thriller The Last of the Tribe, starring Ethan Hawke. The film is set in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil and follows a former Chicago policeman turned hitman investigating a murder, which leads him to encounter the last surviving member of an indigenous tribe.

The Last of the Tribe is directed by Claudio Borrelli and written by Mark Bailey, who also serves as a producer alongside Ethan Hawke, Hawke’s wife Ryan, Steve Schwartz, Paula Mae Schwartz, and Edward Saxon. The project is backed by Protagonist Pictures, Chockstone Pictures, and O2 Filmes. Brazilian actor Zaya Guarani also stars in the film.
