“And when he came in, the Def Con sign suddenly flashed like a disco, and balloons fell from the ceiling, and Angela Bassett came out from the shadow singing, ‘Happy birthday.’ It was insane. And I looked at Peter, this guy who was standing next to me, whose eyes were like saucers, and I said, ‘It’s not always like this.’ It was the most insane showbiz, Hollywood day I’ll ever have. It was fucking nuts, but it was amazing, amazing.”
