The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has disclosed the initial lineup of presenters for the upcoming 98th Academy Awards ceremony. Adrien Brody, last year’s Best Actor winner, will return to present the Best Actor statuette, continuing the tradition of previous acting winners handing out awards in their categories.
Details on Acting Award Presenters and Past Wins
Alongside Brody, Mikey Madison, Zoe Saldaña, and Kieran Culkin will present the Best Actress, Supporting Actress, and Supporting Actor awards, respectively. Madison secured her first Oscar for Best Actress for her role in Sean Baker’s Anora, which dominated last year following its success with the Best Picture win. Brody won Best Actor for The Brutalist, marking his second Oscar, 22 years after receiving the award for The Pianist. Saldaña and Culkin, both earning their first Academy Awards and nominations for performances in Netflix’s Emilia Pérez and Searchlight’s A Real Pain, also complete the group of acting presenters.
Upcoming Presenters and Ceremony Information
The Academy plans to reveal additional presenters in the weeks leading up to the event. The Oscars will be broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, March 15, at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET, with Conan O’Brien returning as the host for the ceremony.
