Nominations Highlight Domingo’s Versatility on Netflix
In addition to the prestigious President’s Award, Domingo has earned two nominations for the NAACP Image Awards. He is recognized for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series and outstanding director in a comedy series for his involvement in Netflix’s “The Four Seasons.” These nods emphasize his multifaceted talent in front of and behind the camera.
Earlier this year, Domingo won the NAACP Image Award for outstanding actor for his role in Netflix’s “Rustin” and also received the award for outstanding supporting actor for “The Color Purple.”

BET president Louis Carr acknowledged Domingo’s role in pushing cultural boundaries, stating,

In the spring of 2026, Domingo is scheduled to deliver the commencement speech at Temple University, where he will also receive an honorary degree during the ceremony at the Liacouras Center on May 6.
