At the 2026 ASCAP Experience in Los Angeles on February 12, Adam Sandler opened up about how his two daughters, Sadie and Sunny, have developed a deep passion for music, following in their father’s footsteps. The 59-year-old actor and musician, best known for blending comedy with music, spoke while accepting the Founders Award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).

he said, reflecting on how music runs in the family. The two daughters, whom he shares with his wife Jackie Sandler, have cultivated their own musical talents as part of their everyday lives.

Details of Their Musical Activities and Education

During his speech, Adam described a typical evening with his children deeply involved in music.

“I walked by last night, my one kid’s playing the piano, writing a song,”

he shared, continuing with,

Sadie is currently studying at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she continues to explore her passion for music.

The comedian also emphasized his personal connection to music, recalling his own experience releasing five studio albums between 1993 and 2004.
