Angelina Jolie’s Film Premiere Headlines Red Lorry Festival

The Red Lorry Film Festival 2026 will take place in Mumbai from March 13 to 15, showcasing a diverse lineup that includes the Angelina Jolie film premiere, alongside other compelling Indian and international films. This event brings filmmakers, actors, and cinephiles together for a unique cinematic experience featuring new releases, classics, and acclaimed foreign titles.

Highlights of Indian and International Films at the Festival

The festival will feature the India premiere of the Huma Qureshi-starrer Bayaan, which follows a rookie police officer investigating a cult leader involved in multiple assaults. Bayaan has previously been screened at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, sharing the spotlight with Neeraj Ghaywan’s Homebound and Anurag Kashyap’s Bandar, featuring Bobby Deol. Produced by Shiladitya Bora, Bayaan explores dark themes through Huma Qureshi’s intense performance as the determined officer.

Shiladitya Bora’s other production, the Marathi film Toh Ti Ani Fuji, directed by Mohit Takalkar, will also be screened. Known for his recent role as Rasheed in Kennedy, Takalkar brings to life this story set partly in Japan, starring Lalit Prabhakar and Mrinmayee Godbole, offering a cross-cultural narrative that adds to the festival’s diversity.

Internationally awaited titles making their debut in India include the Angelina Jolie film premiere, Couture, and Wardriver, featuring Dane DeHaan and Sasha Calle. These films have yet to be widely released in most markets, making their appearance at Red Lorry highly anticipated.
