Inaugural Entertainment has obtained the rights to distribute the upcoming action thriller Hotel Tehran across the United States. This fresh venture, launched in 2025 by Kevin Weisberg and former BET executive Marvin Neil, signals a strong entry into film distribution. The movie features Liam Neeson and Zachary Levi in leading roles, with direction by Guy Moshe, making it a significant project for the newly formed company.
Kevin Weisberg expressed enthusiasm about the film’s release strategy, stating,
“We’re thrilled to bring Hotel Tehran to audiences nationwide,”
and added,
“Guy Moshe has crafted a propulsive, globally resonant thriller anchored by an extraordinary cast. With Zachary Levi and Liam Neeson leading the charge, the film delivers both gripping action and emotional depth. We believe this is exactly the kind of cinematic event audiences are eager to experience on the big screen.”
Creative Team and Storyline Behind Hotel Tehran
Hotel Tehran is penned and directed by Guy Moshe, who co-wrote the script alongside Mark Bacci, known for Prisoner’s Daughter, and Ron Hutchinson. The story originated from Bazzel Baz, a former CIA special operations officer and writer for The Blacklist. The film stars Zachary Levi, Liam Neeson, and Quincy Isaiah, supported by Wes Chatham, Jake Choi, Augusto Augilera, Grant Harvey, Elnaaz Norouzi, Navid Negahban, Lara Wolf, Annet Mahendru, and Titus Welliver.
The plot centers on a CIA team in turmoil after a mission in Afghanistan goes disastrously wrong. Mentored by Neeson’s character Larry and led by Levi’s Tucker, the group ventures into Tehran’s dangerous heart to attempt a daring rescue as a means to find redemption. Moshe described the film as

“an exciting ride as well as a reflection about loyalty, redemption and the human cost of conflict,”
emphasizing the personal connection to the story’s themes.
“Hotel Tehran is at once an exciting ride as well as a reflection about loyalty, redemption and the human cost of conflict. While the film is a work of fiction, much of my own life and experiences informed the story, and I couldn’t have asked for a more committed group of actors and department heads to bring this vision to life. Inaugural fully supported our vision and I am stoked with their release plan for it. We all believe Hotel Tehran will make for a great theatrical experience,”
Moshe stated.
Production Details and Team Involvement
The film is produced by Matthew Zamias, Guy Moshe, and David Lipper, with additional producing credits to Robert A.
