Vin Diesel has announced plans to mark the 25th anniversary of the Fast and Furious franchise, which reaches this milestone in 2026. The actor shared a special moment on Instagram featuring his family dinner with Meadow Walker, the daughter of the late Paul Walker, emphasizing the significance of this landmark year for the series.
Exclusive Car Exhibit at the Peterson Car Museum
Diesel revealed that some of the iconic cars featured throughout the Fast Saga will be showcased at the Peterson Car Museum. This exhibit aims to celebrate the franchise’s legacy by displaying these classic vehicles and welcoming fans to relive memorable moments of the series.
Vin Diesel stated,
Obviously, we always share old stories, nostalgic stories. Especially since it’s the 25th anniversary.
He added,
Meadow and I were incredibly excited, for some reason, about the fact that our cars from Fast and Furious are going to be featured, premiered, shown? On display? At the Peterson Car Museum.
Honoring Paul Walker and Family Participation
Alongside displaying the cars, the museum will also offer merchandise supporting the Paul Walker Foundation, adding a heartfelt tribute to the late actor’s legacy. Diesel’s close relationship with Paul Walker’s family remains central to the anniversary celebrations.
Referring to Meadow Walker, Diesel asked,
And when are we cutting the ribbon? On the 12th of this month. 12th of this month, March. Sending all love.
Legacy and Future of the Fast & Furious Franchise
Since the first film directed by Rob Cohen debuted in 2001, starring Diesel, Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster, the franchise has grown into a global phenomenon.
