Angelina Jolie has not been in a romantic relationship since her divorce from Brad Pitt was finalized in December 2024, according to a close source. The Brad Pitt Divorce Update highlights that Jolie has focused primarily on her family life and upcoming career projects during this period.
Angelina Jolie Remains Focused on Motherhood and Career
A source familiar with Jolie shared that she has not “had a boyfriend” since the divorce settlement, emphasizing her dedication to raising her six children.
“Angie has been extremely busy and focused for the past few years. Dating hasn’t been important to her. She hasn’t had a boyfriend,”
the source said.
“She’s pretty much been a single mom since the divorce, so that’s where most of her focus has been.”
Jolie is mother to Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, who are 17. The twins are expected to turn 18 in July 2026, which will play a significant role in Jolie’s future living arrangements.
“She loves being a mom and always wants to make sure that everyone thrives. She seems to be doing great,”
the source added.
Upcoming Move and Home Sale Plans After Custody Agreement
Following the divorce, Jolie’s relationship with Los Angeles has been complicated due to custody arrangements with Pitt. A source revealed that Jolie’s Los Angeles home is currently being shown to select buyers after renovations were made. Jolie reportedly
“never wanted to live in L.A.”
full time but was obligated to stay because of the custody agreement with Pitt. She is planning to relocate once her youngest children, Knox and Vivienne, reach adulthood on July 12, 2026.
Premiere of Jolie’s Latest Film ‘Couture’ at Toronto Festival
In September 2025, Jolie’s recent film, Couture, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. In this movie, Jolie plays a filmmaker navigating a divorce while also dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, drawing from deeply personal experiences. Speaking with Time France in December, she called the story
“a very personal story for me,”
referencing her mother Marcheline Bertrand, who died from breast and ovarian cancer in 2007, and Jolie’s own preventive double mastectomy after discovering her increased cancer risk in 2013.
The film also features actors Louis Garrel, Ella Rumpf, Garance Marillier, Anyier Anei, and Finnegan Oldfield. While a U.S. release date for Couture has not been announced, Jolie is set to star next in an adaptation of the novel Anxious People.
