At the March 1 Actor Awards, Demi Moore captivated audiences with a breathtaking fashion moment that dominated conversations both on the red carpet and across social media, solidifying her presence in the spotlight during a night largely ruled by women’s fashion. The event‘s Red Carpet Power Rankings, published by The Hollywood Reporter in partnership with Launchmetrics, revealed a significant lead for female stars in online engagement, with Demi Moore’s red carpet style standing out as a highlight of the evening.
The Actor Awards, streamed by Netflix and marking one of the key moments of the 2026 awards season, drew widespread attention not only through the event’s prestigious winners but also via the impressive brand engagements generated by the attendees’ fashion choices. While male stars like Michael B. Jordan received critical acclaim for their performances, it was the women’s gowns and ensembles that truly dominated public admiration and digital interaction.
Leading Fashion Houses Shine at the Actor Awards
Louis Vuitton emerged as the dominant designer label of the night, dressing nine stars including its ambassadors Emma Stone and Jeremy Allen White. Among its highlights was Chase Infiniti’s customized headpiece, which paid homage to the event’s theme of
“Reimagining Hollywood Glamour from the ’20s and ’30s.”
Other celebrities such as Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, Miles Caton, Wunmi Mosaku, Rhea Seehorn, and Erin Doherty also wore bespoke Louis Vuitton pieces, earning the brand an impressive Media Impact Value (MIV) of $6.3 million.

However, Demi Moore’s show-stopping appearance stole much of the spotlight. Wearing a custom creation by Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli Haute Couture, Moore donned a striking black wool crepe bustier dress embroidered with a trompe l’oeil crocodile tail down the front, complemented by a bustle-style white tulle cloud embellished with around 20,000 beads and crystals. This piece, part of Schiaparelli’s spring/summer 2026 haute couture collection, involved over 7,700 hours of hand embroidery. The elaborate craftsmanship and dramatic effect of the gown earned the fashion house $5 million in MIV.
Balenciaga also secured a strong position, largely thanks to Actor Award winners Jessie Buckley and Noah Wyle, as well as Sarah Pidgeon from Ryan Murphy’s FX series Love Story, who wore a design from Pierpaolo Piccioli’s summer 2026 collection. Alongside Yerin Ha, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Michelle Randolph, their choices led Balenciaga to rake in $4.7 million in MIV.
Another notable mention is Thom Browne, which garnered $4.6 million through Teyana Taylor’s unforgettable gown featuring an intarsia torso bodice, widely acclaimed on social media and dubbed “the naked dress that wasn’t.”
Demi Moore and Teyana Taylor Lead the Top Women’s Fashion Rankings
Demi Moore and Teyana Taylor’s sartorial statements stood out as defining moments on the red carpet, as the top five women in style rankings demonstrated the power of unique and dramatic looks. Moore’s collaboration with Schiaparelli generated $4.5 million in MIV, while Taylor’s Thom Browne ensemble followed closely with $4.1 million.
Other stars in this category also commanded attention. Jenna Ortega, embracing the event’s dressing theme with a bold bias-cut Christian Cowan gown paired with Mikimoto pearls, thigh-high stockings, and Jimmy Choo’s platform sandals, earned $3.1 million in engagement. Christian Cowan also benefited from Kristen Wiig’s elegant black gown, strengthening the brand’s position. Emma Stone’s lilac slip dress and cardigan by Louis Vuitton secured fourth place, and Chase Infiniti’s unique look completed the top five for women, contributing to Louis Vuitton’s dominance with a total MIV of $5.1 million.
The women’s fashion impact significantly outpaced the men’s, with combined engagement for the top five women soaring to $16.9 million, a sharp rise from the $13.45 million recorded in 2025. In contrast, the top five men generated a total of $5.03 million in earned engagement, less than 30 percent of the women’s total.
Male Stars Make Their Mark with Key Fashion and Jewelry Choices
Among men, Connor Storrie led the Power Rankings in a Saint Laurent tuxedo at the Actor Awards, also wearing Tiffany & Co. jewels that highlighted his diamond and platinum Mixed Cluster necklace. His style choices garnered a cumulative $2.8 million in MIV for the brands.
Timothée Chalamet secured second place despite his relatively rare personal red carpet postings, largely benefiting from his 21.4-million Instagram followers and social media activity by his stylist, Taylor McNeil. Sam Nivola from The White Lotus earned $476,000 for his Dior tuxedo, while Jeremy Allen White placed fifth with an MIV of $451,000 representing Louis Vuitton, although this was a slight drop from his 2025 ranking.
Tiffany & Co. Captures the Spotlight in Jewelry and Watches
Tiffany & Co. topped the jewelry and watches category, boosted by the presence of stars including Connor Storrie, Teyana Taylor, Quinta Brunson, Kristen Wiig, Chase Sui Wonders, and Hamnet director Chloé Zhao, all adorned with the brand’s exquisite diamonds and gold. This extensive visibility resulted in $3.6 million in MIV.
Independent designers also made a significant impact: Los Angeles-based Emily P. Wheeler, who provided diamonds to Kate Hudson to complement her Valentino gown, secured second place with $1.3 million in engagement. London-based Jessica McCormack outfitted Hamnet’s star with jewels to match her Balenciaga dress, earning $1.25 million and reflecting the growing influence of niche designers.
An unexpected highlight came with the vintage 1930 turquoise earclips worn by Gwyneth Paltrow from the house of Suzanne Belperron. After Paltrow briefly lost one earring during her onstage appearance, media coverage of the incident likely boosted the brand’s profile, granting Belperron a fourth-place finish with $1.1 million in MIV.
Leading Accessories Brands Enhanced by Star Appearances
Jimmy Choo led the accessories category, thanks in part to Jenna Ortega’s appearance in Christian Cowan’s gown paired with their striking Max platform sandals. The brand amassed $726,000 in MIV for the night. Christian Louboutin placed a close second, outfitting several stars including Sarah Catherine Hook, Mindy Kaling, Tyler James Williams, Britt Lower, and Janelle James, narrowly trailing Jimmy Choo despite similar star counts.
Tyler Ellis secured the third spot by providing Italian-made clutches to actresses such as Ali Larter, Mindy Kaling, Emily Watson, and Regina Hall, earning $382,000. Kristen Bell’s hosting role likely contributed to René Caovilla’s fourth-place finish with $119,000 in MIV. Milan-based Paris Texas edged into fifth place with $104,000, boosted by Sarah Paulson’s vintage Yves Saint Laurent ankle-length gown from 1979.
Looking ahead, all eyes will turn to the grand finale of the 2026 awards season: the 98th Academy Awards, scheduled for Sunday, March 15 at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre and broadcast live on ABC and Hulu starting at 7 p.m. ET. This event promises to build on the intense fashion excitement and social media engagement sparked by the Actor Awards, as the leading stars and designers compete for one of the season’s biggest accolades.
