Keanu Reeves’ Dogstar Drops New Album, Huge World Tour

Keanu Reeves’ alternative rock band Dogstar revealed plans for a new album and a major tour on March 6. The group is set to release their album, All In Now, on May 29, accompanied by a recently launched single of the same name, while embarking on a 50-date tour spanning North America and Europe.

Details on Album Release and Tour Schedule

All In Now follows the band’s 2023 album, Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, which was their first since 2000’s Happy Ending. The band’s North American tour will start on May 28 in Highland, California, and will run through September 3, concluding in Salt Lake City, Utah. Additionally, Dogstar will perform 25 shows across Europe during June and July.

Alongside the announcements, Reeves shared his excitement, stating,

“Personally, I loved it all. For me, the attitude was like, ‘let’s work hard and let’s GO.’”

The Band’s History and Recent Reunion

Formed in 1994, Dogstar gained notice in the late 1990s and early 2000s partly due to Reeves’ fame as an actor. The group, which includes guitarist and vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Robert Mailhouse, and Reeves on bass, played their last concert before an extended break in October 2002. They resumed informal jam sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and formally announced their comeback in 2022 with a simple message and a throwback photo on Instagram.

Significance of the New Release and Tour

The new album and accompanying world tour mark a significant moment for Dogstar, highlighting their renewed commitment to making music together after nearly two decades apart. Fans of the band and of Keanu Reeves’ musical pursuits can look forward to a vibrant live experience as Dogstar reintroduces itself to both longtime followers and new audiences during this extensive Keanu Reeves Dogstar tour.
