This event, held in early 2024, celebrated the Damiani family legacy and the refreshed store, which aims to elevate the customer experience by blending luxury with a homely atmosphere. The boutique’s redesign took over 20 years of original style into account, evolving into a space filled with lighter tones and a welcoming environment. Silvia Damiani, vice president of Damiani Group, described the transformation as creating a setting that feels less like a showroom and more like a private residence. The goal was to allow visitors to focus on the jewellery while enjoying a comfortable and elegant flow throughout the store.
“We were very attached to our store’s original concept. But after more than 20 years we thought of changing it and integrating lighter colours. It’s a place where we display jewellery, but we wanted to give it a homey feeling,”
mentioned Silvia Damiani.
She added,
“The new space features simpler vitrines with a display that enables visitors to concentrate more on what they’re looking for, but at the same time enjoy the flow.”
Privacy and Italian Craftsmanship at the Heart of the Design
A distinctive feature of the renewed boutique is its VIP room, created with discretion and privacy in mind—values especially cherished by the Gulf clientele. The space offers warmth and respect, extending beyond jewellery to reflect Italian excellence in both craft and decor.
Explaining the importance of privacy during high-end purchases, Silvia said,
“While buying jewellery, it is very important to have some privacy. We want this especially for our important customers from the Gulf.”
The boutique’s interior honors Damiani’s Italian heritage through fine details such as white and gold Calacatta marble flooring and columns, Rubelli’s beige Gong Wall, gold-colored Eldorado Wall, and seating covered in Dedar’s Splendido Splendente fabrics. This cohesive design language aligns with the maison’s global concept.
“The concept is the same that we started to develop globally,”
Silvia pointed out.
