Lewis is a vice-president of the Leeds Rugby Foundation charity, co-hosts the Leeds United podcast Doing a Leeds with former professional footballer Jermaine Beckford, and in February 2021 became the first patron of the Bambisanani Partnership. He has described himself as an atheist.
