Skyler Augustus Gisondo (born July 22, 1996) is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the films Licorice Pizza, Booksmart, Vacation, and Superman, as well as the television programs Psych, The Righteous Gemstones, and Santa Clarita Diet.
Early Life and Background
Skyler Gisondo was born on July 22, 1996, in Palm Beach County, Florida. His parents, Stacey Berke and Ron Gisondo, are ocean engineers. His last name is derived from his paternal grandfather, who was of Italian-American descent, while his other three grandparents were Jewish. Gisondo spent his early years in Florida before moving to South Bay, Los Angeles. Due to his early success in acting, he was homeschooled for several years. He later attended Milken Community High School in Los Angeles, graduating in 2014. In 2015, he began attending the University of Southern California’s film school, initially full-time before switching to part-time to accommodate his acting career.

Gisondo began his acting career at the age of six, when his mother sent his photos to talent agencies in Southern California. This led to a successful audition for a national Pizza Hut commercial. In 2003, he made his television debut playing Jeffrey in the comedy-drama series Miss Match. His feature film debut came in 2006 with the drama Jam, where he portrayed Robert.
