Raised in the San Fernando Valley neighborhoods of Sherman Oaks and Northridge, Grazer was exposed to a rich cultural environment that helped shape his creative perspective. He attended the University of Southern California’s School of Cinema-Television, graduating in 1974. Although he briefly studied law at USC Law School, he left in 1975 to pursue a career in film and television.
