Jemaine Clement is a New Zealand actor, comedian, musician, and filmmaker, best known as one half of the musical comedy duo Flight of the Conchords alongside Bret McKenzie. The pair’s BBC Radio 2 series was adapted into the acclaimed HBO show of the same name, running from 2007 to 2009 and earning Clement six Primetime Emmy nominations, alongside a 2008 Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album. Clement made his directorial debut co-writing and co-directing What We Do in the Shadows in 2014, which was later expanded into the FX television series.
