Leila George is an Australian and American actress whose work spans film, television, theatre, and documentary production. Born in 1992, she trained at Brighton College, Crawley College, the Arts Educational Schools in London, the Sydney Film School, and the Lee Strasberg Institute before earning her first professional credit in 2013 on the documentary The Last Impresario. She went on to star in the television film Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? in 2016, joined the Peter Jackson-produced Mortal Engines in 2018, appeared in the western The Kid in 2019, and became widely known for playing the young Janine “Smurf” Cody in the crime drama series Animal Kingdom.
