In a recent interview with Agence France-Presse, Holland shared his admiration for Nolan’s script, stating,
The script is the best script I’ve ever read,
highlighting his enthusiasm for this new role. This follow-up to Nolan’s acclaimed Oppenheimer finished production about a month ago, while Holland has now begun work on Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Holland described Nolan as a collaborative director, noting that although Nolan has a clear vision, the set remains a space for creative exchange. The actor explained,
He [Nolan] knows what he wants… but it is not an environment where you can’t pitch ideas or build characters in certain ways.
