Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman stars in the latest Morgan Freeman Warburtons advert, marking the British baking company’s 150-year milestone. The two-minute commercial is set to debut on ITV on 14 February and features Freeman narrating the history of Warburtons while playfully questioning what defines a crumpet.

Freeman joins a prestigious group of celebrities, including George Clooney, Robert De Niro, Olivia Colman, and Samuel L Jackson, who have taken part in previous Warburtons campaigns. This new advert blends historical footage with humor, featuring a parody of Top Gun and brief appearances from Olivia Colman depicted as a wanted poster and even Paddington Bear.
