Iceboy! Or The Completely Untrue Story of How Eugene O’Neill Came to Write The Iceman Cometh,
featuring music by Mark Hollman, lyrics by Hollman and Jay Reiss, with a book by Erin Quinn Purcell and Jay Reiss.
The show is scheduled to open at the Goodman Theatre on June 20 and will run through July 26.
Chicago Shakespeare Theater Revises Schedule with New Production
In a separate announcement, Chicago Shakespeare Theater has postponed its previously planned staging of Ain’t Misbehavin’ due to conflicts in performer availability. Instead, it will present a new marital comedy titled Fault, written by Scooter Pietsch. The production stars Teri Hatcher and Enrico Colantoni, with Jason Alexander directing. Performances at The Yard on Navy Pier start April 18 and continue through May 24.
