In a recent interview with Elle Australia, the 17-year-old shared how spending time on film sets alongside Nicole Kidman sparked her interest in modeling and filmmaking, making her mother her primary source of inspiration.
I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences and especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age,
Sunday said.
My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do.
Balancing Fame with a Normal Teenage Life
Being the child of two celebrated figures, Nicole Kidman and country music star Keith Urban, Sunday Rose has lived much of her life in the spotlight. Despite this, she credits maintaining a typical teenage routine with helping her stay grounded amid the fame.
The privilege of having these experiences and meeting so many new people is so amazing, but as a teenager it’s so easy to get sucked in to all of it so fast,

There’s always going to be something with an early call time that you don’t want to get up for, but it’s really important to be on time because it shows that you’re prepared and grateful to be there.
Parental Guidelines Shaping Her Path
Sunday Rose has also discussed the firm rules her parents established before she entered the fashion world. In an August 2025 interview with NYLON, she explained that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban set two key conditions: she could not pursue fashion work before turning 16, and her education had to remain her top priority.
The first was that I couldn’t explore any kind of fashion work until I was 16, and the second is that school always has to come first,
she noted. While initially reluctant, Sunday now appreciates these boundaries.
I am actually really glad that I have these rules in place because it keeps me in a good mindset,
she reflected.
Besides Sunday Rose, Kidman and Urban share a younger daughter named Faith Margaret Kidman Urban. Nicole Kidman also has two children, Isabella Jane Cruise and Connor Cruise, from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise.
