Hugh Jackman Joins Tanglewood’s Star-Studded Summer Lineup

The Tanglewood Popular Artist Series announced three exciting new performances for summer 2026, featuring Hugh Jackman, Brandi Carlile, and the rock legends John Fogerty and Steve Winwood. These additions enhance a lineup that showcases Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award winners, offering a variety of highly anticipated concerts at the iconic venue.

Hugh Jackman will make his debut at both Tanglewood and with the Boston Pops on August 11, joining conductor Keith Lockhart and the orchestra for the event. The acclaimed actor and singer recently received praise for his 2025 film Song Sung Blue and is slated to appear soon in A24’s thriller The Death of Robin Hood. Jackman’s involvement marks a notable moment for fans eager to see his live performance at Tanglewood.

Brandi Carlile and Rock Veterans Set to Perform

Brandi Carlile returns to Tanglewood on August 18 after her sold-out appearance in 2024. The 11-time Grammy-winning artist’s latest album, Returning to Myself, earned her a fifth top-10 spot on the Billboard 200, and she recently received acclaim for a performance at TD Garden. Her continued success draws attention to this upcoming concert date.

On September 6, rock icons John Fogerty and Steve Winwood will share the stage. Both have a history with Tanglewood: Winwood performed in 1991, Fogerty in 2024. Fogerty, known as the lead singer and guitarist of Creedence Clearwater Rival, is a Grammy winner inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Winwood, co-founder of the British band Traffic and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, boasts a five-decade career with over 50 million records sold.
