Dame Emma Thomas is a British film producer and co-founder of Syncopy Inc., established with Christopher Nolan in 2001. She has produced every feature film directed by Nolan, with their collective work grossing over six billion dollars worldwide. Her productions span acclaimed titles including the Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk, and Oppenheimer. Thomas won the Academy Award for Best Picture for Oppenheimer (2023), becoming the first British woman to receive that honor, and was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2024. She has earned multiple Academy Award, BAFTA Award, and Golden Globe Award nominations throughout her career.
