Mindy Kaling is an American actress, comedian, screenwriter, and producer who has become one of the most influential voices in American comedy. She rose to prominence as a writer and performer on NBC’s The Office, where she played Kelly Kapoor and was the most prolific writer on staff, earning multiple Primetime Emmy nominations. In 2012, she founded Kaling International and created, produced, and starred in The Mindy Project.
